Where it began; What I love:
I began my dental career in 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where I gained invaluable experience in patient care. Afterward, I transitioned into working as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA), a role I truly loved. However, my passion for dentistry and patient education led me to advance into dental hygiene, where I could take a more comprehensive approach to preventive care.
Passionate about the community, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals of all backgrounds and needs. Another passion of mine is the vital connection between medical and dental care, for a more collaborative approach in healthcare. By bridging the gap, I strive to enhance patient outcomes and overall well-being, ensuring that oral health is recognized as an essential part of whole-body health.
Beyond my profession, I enjoy playing the piano and clarinet, capturing moments through photography, camping, baking, and singing with friends. As a dual citizen of Portugal, I also cherish the tradition of winemaking with my family in Massachusetts—a meaningful connection to my heritage and the joy of shared experiences.
